SARDA South Wales pass on our best wishes to dogs and handlers from SARDA South Wales and SARDA England who are up for assessment this weekend 5th, 6th and 7th November in the Brecon Beacons. We'd also like to say a massive thanks to our Bodies who have volunteered their time to hide from the dogs, making these assessments possible!

SARDA South Wales Mountain Rescue Search Dogs are a charity who specialise in searching for lost, injured or missing people in hostile terrain and extreme weather conditions.

Working with the Police, Mountain Rescue teams, and other emergency services, our search-dog teams cover large areas quicker and more effectively than human-only search teams. Missing people are found sooner and lives are saved.

Our handlers are all volunteers, who come from a variety of different backgrounds. All have day jobs, searching and training with SARDA South Wales is done in their spare time. Handlers and dogs are always ready to respond 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to calls in urban, rural or mountainous areas across South Wales and further afield.

Burns Pet Nutrition company logo SARDA South Wales are extremely happy to announce that they are now supported by Burns Pet Nutrition. Based within SARDA South Wales' area in Kidwelly, Burns will be proving all of our dogs with food, and in addition are providing protective clothing to our handlers.
