South Wales area rescue teams:Western Beacons Mountain Rescue Team Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team Severn Area Rescue Association - our colleagues providing lowland search and rescue around the Severn estuary Wales Air Ambulance Charity - the operators of Helimed 57, Helimed 59 and Helimed 61, the three air ambulances covering Wales. RAF 22 Squadron - Royal Air Force search and rescue helicopters, 'A' Flight based at RMB Chivenor in North Devon is able to cover South Wales, and 'C' Flight at RAF Valley operates across North Wales.
